I'm an online player from Maine, so I don't have any experience with tournaments, or any real offline kombat for that matter. I'm basically wondering how clans work for this game. My main question being: can I join one? I'm pretty good, and I have knowledge with many different characters.

But don't be a dick about it. Just say, "Hey, looking for some games to get some MU experience," or something of that nature and the good players will come to you. Good players look for other good players to level up against, and some even look for players to make their apprentice. You have your work cut out for you.
