I have no doubt that you can, but it takes time and practice. Basically, playing Ranked, your first Season see where you end up; just play and find your current placement.

Then for the next Season, try to move one League or Level higher, and keep going.

ya I played it for a short period. I really like the game but felt quite overwhelmed and just kinda stayed away from ranked after 2 games lol just played v ai with some friends.

That feeling goes away after a bit. When you start, honestly, expect to loose roughly your first two dozen games, as the system is working out your proper level.
