With our great Empress meeting her demise at the hands of that twat D'Vorah, what do you think will become of her in the story for MK11?

Will she be reborn in the Netherrealm, perhaps? Might she and Kitana be on the same side if that were the case?

Will Shang Tsung simply have her replaced with the apparent "Mileena army"?

I do think we'll see Mileena in MK11. She's the other iconic female alongside Kitana. They are the female Scorpion and Sub Zero, afterall.

What do you guys predict for her?

She'll be back of course, if not in the next game then in some game in the future.

Story-wise, we're really going to need to wait and see. Revenant seems unlikely since that was a Quan Chi thing. Realistically she'll either be resurrected by another means, a clone will come forward, or the one executed was a decoy clone and she's still out there.

Isn't it depressing that D'vorah killed both Mileena and Baraka?

I think someone above mentioned that that might have been a decoy. That would be the only way to do it without getting corny imo.

For Mileena, a decoy is a possibility (and Shao Khan used this exact strategy in the original time line). For Baraka, he's dead dead. But again, Mortal Kombat. Death is never permanent.

The Tarkatens represent the old Outworld order, and NRS is pushing their new characters and such, so Kotal "winning" makes sense given what they were doing with the overall story.

My hopes for the Kahnum would be for a) she and Kitana becomes bffs and she helps rule the Netherrealm as a Revenant (I'm sure Liutana could make her a Revenant since they basically own all the souls down there), b) it was a clone and Mileena is gaining her strength back. She'll eventually regroup with Tanya and possibly Rain and the trio will slay Kotal's squad, especially D'Vorah.

I've been thinking of many ways for D'vorah to die.
Mileena shall do her Impaler brutality, and D'vorah falls to her knees. Then, Mileena pounces and bites into her neck. D'vorah, barely breathing and in agony, falls onto her back. Mileena then stabs both her sais into D'vorah's eyes. She pulls the sais out, and then smashes her foot into D'vorah's face, leaving nothing but a mess. -- She doesn't die easily according to the comics, but the pain of death would be enough.
I really hate D'vorah lol.

Tbh I just really want Mileena to be a Revenant so she can get a new badass Revenant costume.

Why not just disconnect the story from the fight mode and put every character they ever released in the game on release?

better yet. she wont be in the story and they'll make her dlc so she will be top tier. I'm joking obviously and I would really love it if she becomes the empress of outworld for real this time. and I wouldn't mind is she becomes more sophisticated while still keeping that monster kind of side of her. basically make her more like the comic ( which can be applied to about everything story related).

I'm pretty sure D'vorah died in the comic already. also she can team up with Tanya but hell no she's not working with rain. that asshole was going to kill her and take her throne.

Nobody ever stays dead in any fictional thingamajig. I'm sure they'll bring her back in some way, shape or form. As to how is anybody's guess. Anything could be possible.

For the love of god i hope they don't pull that revenant shit.

Like everyone else says, characters in the mk universe doesn't necessarily die, in some way or shape she is coming back most likely due to a new character/big boss etc.

And another thing is that most likely the mileena that died was just a tarkatan clone, just my theory on the topic. i hope im right ^_^ cause that would be cool if she does A surprise on kotal when he's all settled in outworld in mk11 , then he'll be all confused .

I fully expect Mileena to return. Since the obvious Netherrealm resurrection angle has been done to death though, I'm hoping that NRS expands on the "clone" aspect from Mileena's arcade ending.

Read the latest comic, she isn't gone for good. She is literally putting herself back together. Plus, the comic is a prequel, so in the current timeline she'd still be alive either way. And yeah I agree. Rain needs to go. Maybe Tanya's ending is canon and they burned Rain at the stake and Tanya is supposedly in prison. If Mileena is still alive, then she'd be able to return the favor an rescue Tanya from prison.

Unless Shang Tsung is the MK11 boss, Mileena comes back as a clone and helps Earthrealm.
Kitana and Mileena swap sides.

I think it was Mileena's clone and I feel her ending will be semi cannon. Perhaps to secretly assassinate Kotal or something and take back her throne. I would like to see her as the ruler of Outworld for sure. Heaps of potential... also could set up some fireworks between her and Kitana given that the later is now Empress of the Netherrealm.
