You can customize intros, probably why. The same with win poses.

Rain's attack:
A Rain Bubble traps your opponent when activated.

Baraka's attack:
Summon Baraka to assist during the fight.

One summons a character (Baraka's) whereas the other is simply an attack coming from your side of the screen (Rain's). Wording is important in this case.

Don't get me wrong though, I do think Rain will be in the game, but not for that reason.

At 10:20 you see scorpion amplify this spear twice in one combo. So as long as you have meter you can combo from spear twice in a single combo.

Still weird that you have to burn meter now to combo from it

Not a true combo. When he does the Amplified Spear and goes to hit him, he waits to long and it doesn't actually combo. It's just that the opponent didn't block so they got hit anyway, and since that was the start of another combo, he was able to do it again.

It sounds like each character only has 1 intro as the starting speaker with the other, hopefully that's only because it's a demo.

They all have multiple intros. That’s one of the customization options, along with win poses.
