yeah ! and all we need now, is just NRS , WB and Ed coming up, cut the crap and release that marvelous reveal trailer we are begging for, showing our dearest pink magenta crazy bitch back, in all her glory on MK11 .... :rolleyes:

cannot wait for the best ever character of MK franchise, our half-tarkatan Queen Bitch, to show up sooner or later, hehe .... (better be sooner, ha!) :p

I had given up, and I was okay with the fact that she was not going to be in MK11, that's the whole reason why I picked HB Kitana. I could dress her in purple, play with the Sai variation, give her a toothed mask, I was satisfied. But the fact that she's actually in feels like a dream lmao. Part of me doesn't want to hope too much, but I also think this is true beyond the shadow of a doubt.

it's true, Mileena will come up, and this is why, this is the reason .... at this point, will all evidences, leaks and data mining , if even this way, NRS and Ed just decide to take her out of the game, they will create a LOT of trouble for MK11 and MK franchise, kinda, they will betray and make the fanbase lost all trust on NRS , and this, my dear, is always a bad, bad, very bad, truly bad business practice, when your fans (aka Costumers) don't trust your product anymore, hehe

so, she will be in, she is very important for the franchise series, and is a huge fan favorite, in fact, I would not be surprised if this all was planned since the MK11 early development stage : let Mileena out purposely, in order to create a huge out of proportion hype, and , in time, at the right time, release her hehe

Anyway, it was not fun, just suffering for this subject along more than one year straight, so, I hope they do not do this again ever, and for MK12, we have Mileena since the beggining , in the initial roster ..... it's just plain sucks when your favorite character is absented of a new game, the feeling is just horrible, hehe .... :confused:

Now, I am kinda hype to see if she'll look identical to Kitana and what they're going to do with her mouth. If it going to look like the female tarkatans we saw in the story mode of MK11? Cause honestly I liked her MKX mouth better, it looks unique. But when it comes to the female ninjas they've pretty much nailed the looks so I'm not too worried.

yes .... the right direction, would be, Mileena having Kitana facial features, because she is a clone of her, with the same DNA, but mixed with a "little" of tarkatan blood, so, having Kitana face, but, with those shark-like teeth, and those sinister eyes, that would be enough ..... in other words, she is not a complete tarkatan, but a hybrid, so, she would not ever be like the female tarkatan we saw on story mode, but, something more .... unique

they did a creative and well planned stuff with her mouth in MKX, following that pattern would be pretty cool indeed, for MK11, even more with the updated\upgraded graphics the game allows nowadays ....

However, maybe they stick with the classic look, and she end up having a mouth more or less as Baraka in MK11, what would not be bad at all, just , a bit more grotesque and savage than the MKX layout one, hehe

the female looks in MK11 are amazing (despite Cassie Cage being way more sexier on MKX; her undercut was awesome, and she had a amazing pair of ..... hehe, to die for!) , so I will trust that they will not disappointing with Mily, and will deliver the best they can ..... ;)

I need my pouncing savage animalistic girl back. I feel like the females ( Is that term ok to say, btw? Read some tweets from woman stating that term is degrading to woman. Glad i'm not much of a talker in these times :DOGE) in this game are all too tidy, and craving for a more violent addition. i think of the rushdown of sonya but more bloodthirsty and vicious like a feline

we need a pinch of "craziness" coming from the female squad, and so, only Mileena, as character, can provide this at the right dosage , hehe :D

Personally don't feel like female is an offensive term unless used passive-aggressively, but yes to animalistic Mileena, that's how I wish she'll play! Takedowns and crazed sai stabs lmao.

Tanya is a great character, pretty underrated .... they did an awesome job on her look and moveset in MKX, really good indeed .... she deserves to come back, fuck yeah !

Regarding behaviour and attitude, I disagree .... Tanya is more a sassy and provocative lady, that enjoys to brag and be cocky for fun ..... the pure savage, brutal, intimidating and predatory stuff fits much more to Mileena, because she does not only kill you .... if she has chance, she just eats you alive literally, if you just don't take care while fighting her, so, she is the most agressive and violent female character ever created on MK franchise, she is a pure demonic girl ! :confused: :eek:

Well, it's going either be slow startup, she'll be a low-damage character, or you're going to need a bar. Old Mileena would break this game.

Of the options, I'm okay with combos requiring a bar as long as I can get some big kid damage out of it.

Okay, okay, here's my current lil thoughts cause its 1:42 AM, I'm listening to Nicki and I just secured $40 for the next Kombat Pack should the shit ever come out because my Kahnum might be coming and I gotta cop the preorder on day one.

Okay, first and foremost. The sai. Wtf are they gonna do about the sai? I don't think they'd scrap it. Yes, the sai is her signature weapon, but...Kitana has it now. There's even a sai called "Mileena's favorite." It'd just feel weird. And I can only imagine how much of a pain in the ass it was to create 30+ UNIQUE sai...then to have to create 30+ more? Or to copy/paste/rename Kitana's sai catalog for Mileena...idk...I just can't see that happening. And I would absolutely love for there to be a dialogue between the two where Mileena calls her ass out for stealing her weapon.

But looking through the wiki there's still tons of options for Mileena.

Ball Roll
Straight Sai Toss
Low Sai Toss

Her Telekick has been with her since the beginning, but unlike the sai toss, NRS didn't change how it works for Kitana. With the sai toss, Kitana throws it at an angle. But the telekick is the exact same as it always has been for Mileena. However, the amplified kick could work the same as it did in MKX where she'd kick multiple times for a combo, whereas Kitana amplifies for the fan toss.

They could bring back her "Vanish" from MKX. Though I personally never found her Ethereal variation that exciting compared to the other two.

Now, in MKX, Ravenous was my favorite variation for Mileena. It was fun and my favorite aspect of Mileena is her crazy acrobatics on top of her chomping on people and this variation had that. So they DEFINITELY need to bring back her High Pounce and Low Pounce. Lemme leap frog over people, backflip onto them, break their arms, and then curb stomp them with my ass. Yes.

In MK9 she had Leaping Neckbite where she just straight up jumped on them and bit them. I could see a move like that being a good combo ender in MK11. Although in MKX she had a move similar to that and it was in a combo, and you could extend it.

But, at the end of the day NRS is NRS and they're pretty smart and creative enough that I trust them to give Mileena and fun set of variations and moves. They could definitely come up with some unique variation moves.

I'm interested to see what they do with her voice. I absolutely adored Mileena's voice in MKX. The growls and screams were incredible and I'd love to see that voice actress return. However, I wouldn't be disappointed if Kari does the voice for Mileena in MK11 since she also does Kitana's. In a couple of Kitana's mirror match dialogues, there are easter eggs to one of the Kitanas being a clone. She even has a darker tone to her voice, much like Mileena and refers to the other as "Sister."

"Another of Shang Tsung's Clones?"

"Fresh from the Flesh Pits, Sister."

"You are all abominations."

I was going to clip the dialogue and post it to my Twitter with Kitana's Kombat League skin from the last season + the Mileena mask so we could somewhat visualize what Kari would bring to the table, but my clips are messing up. I'll keep trying though.

One of her gear pieces should obviously be her mask + hair. Just like how Sindel and Sheeva have multiple hair options, Mileena def should too. Imo she should have a ponytail, a braid, and her hair down, then various options of masks, veils, or no mask.

Normally, her sai would be the next obvious option, but because Kitana can't keep her grubby little thief hands off of female ninja's weapons I don't see that being a gear piece. Maybe she'll have gloves, boots, or a medallion.

But who knows, maybe Mileena could have her sai as a gear piece. Looking through the roster, Cassie, Jax, Robocop, Erron Black, and Terminator all have "Shotguns/Pistols/ or some other type of gun." so maybe they actually could give Mileena her sai. And hell, we're getting Rambo who ALSO has a gun. So...screw it, give Mileena her sai.

I have a few ideas for intros and outros. Ball Rolling in, teleporting from the sky, dancing in like in MK9 (This is one I'm really hoping to see.)

In terms of outros. She could have one that resembles her MK9 one where she eats the camera, tossing her sai at the camera is also an obvious choice. One that I'm hoping for and mentioned the other day in a status is a reference to Jennifer's Body. Basically fade to black after the opponent falls, then cut to the silhouettes like in the scene below.


Megan Fox was serving demonic Mileena vibes in Jennifer's Body and I live for it. And there has to be a reference to this movie SOMEWHERE for Mileena in MK11. But those are my main thoughts on Mileena right now. Sorry, it's a bit of a read, but y'all know I love my girl so much and I get passionate when I'm hype lol. Whatever happens, whatever they manage to come up with, I'm excited. I don't see how they could disappoint me. However, while writing this...the thought of them making Mileena a Premier skin for Kitana crossed my mind and I've felt sick ever since, but I'm choosing to ignore that idea lol.

Again, I think there’s a significant chance that her sais may not appear as gear at all. They may simply be tied to the costume you choose to put her in (similar to how Jade’s staff will sometimes be purple).

That being said, NRS may also choose to take her in a completely new (ala Sindel) and feral direction. If her story has her waking up in the Flesh Pits with no one to guide her, she may focus only on claws and biting and act purely instinctual (though, that would seem to take a page out of Baraka’s book). Only time will tell.

That's honestly what I'm hoping for. The acrobatics in her moves could set her apart from Baraka though. My favorite part of Mileena is her feral, animalistic, vicious nature. I wouldn't be against her losing the sai completely.

Edit: Thinking about how the devs took the time to update Mileena's model for Kitana's friendship. Giving her Tarkatan eyes, making her ears pointy, skin more tan, and making it to where you can see the impression of her teeth beneath her mask. Why add all those minor details you would never even notice when just watching the Friendship if not to make her playable?

True. Like I said, Mileena still has her straight + low sai attacks since Kitana throws hers in an arc. And there are tons of ways to stab someone with a sai and even Kitana still uses her fan in that move.

The only move they'd share that seems the same is the teleport kick.
