I stumbled on site of hardcore japanese MK-fan who also happened to be a mangaka. He sells his manga, so you cant look much of it aside from cover and few pages, but, you can view alot of his character artwork.

In gallery you can click on like anything and you will get MK fanarts. News are in middle of page, side panels have links to all fanarts. Fanarts on right panel are fatality-themed

Also I readed that he made a manga of MKA endings (illustrated, unlike original MKA ingame endings Boon sold to us)

In my opinion I think these drawings are too detailed. Dont get me wrong, I think they are awesome drawings but I think too much detail can ruin a picture.
