Midway's selling the Mortal Kombat franchise rights

Looks like Midway is trying to sell off the rights to Mortal Kombat as seen here http://kotaku.com/5162447/midway-offloading-mortal-kombat-and-screwing-former-employees . Maybe a new publisher will pick it up and we'll get great new MK game!
