Hey guys, yesterday I finally got to attend my first regional tournament up in Kansas City, Missouri. I'm not gonna lie I had a blast. Fighting game tournaments are just about one of the funnest things EVER! I only entered in Injustice because there was no MK (which sucks), and SSF4 AE had 3 times the amount of entrants (33 vs 11). I know the turnout wasnt huge but I did have to come all the way back from the losers brackets to win against a really annoying Superman.
Quite a few guys from St. Louis showed up (which is about 5 hours away) and when they first got there they were all talking trash and challeneged the best 5 players from KC, MO to an exhibibtion match. By the time the first round was over every single one of them was in losers, and by the time the tourney was over they all left and ditched the exhibition match, leaving thier SSF4 counterparts to explain poorly why they left.
So all in all I won, I got to beat the bricks off some St. Louis guys, and I got to play some games with some of the best people around here. Thanks guys!!!
