Maximillian's New Job - Working on Killer Instinct Season 2!

As video-gamers, have you ever fantasized about what it would be like to work at a company that designs your favorite gaming franchise? Well, as of yesterday, that fantasy has turned into a reality for Mr. Maximillian. As he confirms in the video below, he has had past involvement with Double Helix in video production for Killer Instinct Season 1, but wasn't immediately approached by Iron Galaxy when the task of developing Season 2 fell into their hands. However, as a step towards perfecting the story mode for its eventual opening in Season 2, IG and Microsoft have brought Maximillian on board to work on the game. Now, for someone who loves Killer Instinct as much as Max does, this has to be an amazing change for his life!

For those wondering, this will NOT impact his frequency in uploading videos in a negative way. In fact, Microsoft and IG have apparently demanded for him to continue covering gaming news for the public, and to be as critical as he always is...all for the sake of polishing their product for us to enjoy!

Congrats to Max... I REALLY want to play KI but I dont want to spend $350 for a system I dont even plan on planning on buy alot of games for and a system I dont ike. If I ever were to get it I'll do it for KI.

Why is this on the front page of this site?

Anyone who cares about this is already subscribed to him and has probably already heard about it.

I know MKX news has been slow for a while, but geez "this guy who makes videos about fighting games has a job at this place that makes fighting games" is really reaching for straws.

This site has a habit of posting something every time Max farts in the general direction of KI or MK for some reason.

I mean, i'm subscribed to the guy and I watch his stuff but he isn't a prodigy of incredibly influential figure for either of those games.

Max is a stand up guy and isn't claiming to be the best. He is a great addition to the community and I'm very happy for him.

Because it is material worthy for the front page. Just the fact you made a post like this is very telling of your level of respect for those who practically live and breathe the FGC.

I myself never heard of Maximillian until @STORMS front-paged some of his videos talking about the raw build for KI back before its release. So yes, promoting his videos benefited at least somebody.

No need to be berserk.

Although it may not seem like it Max is very important. He has a large following and his videos have a large impact. Imagine if he put the time he put into KI into a different game. Like lets say MK X. If he enjoys the game a lot we can see a lot of content from him and possibly more people entering the scene. Max was actually one of the reasons i even got heavy into the FGC. Thanks to his Marvel videos. So this is important front page news.

I'm kinda leaning toward the Xbox One simply because it will have two games I wanna play, KI and MKX. I doubt I'll play many games on console beyond that. Max has been hyping me to play it for awhile now.

And for good reason, KI is an awesome fighting game series one of the top 3 in my book. But me and Xbox dont click, but like I said before I do it for KI not for xbox.

I'm with you on this actually. I've always had a playstation because... Well it just seemed better to me. I'm not loyal to any company because those people are stupid, but I will say the Xbox one has been good to me so far. I get KI and will get MKX as well. So no commits for me

Also just decided to start playing halp (I've never been intetested in the past), so I'm making the most of it! Kan-Ra tomorrow!

On topic: Max is awesome! It's offensive to compare him to 16bit... Max has a wife and a life; his work is way more productive than anything 16bit has ever done. Plus... You know... Integrity
