GO VOLS!!!
Fighting game enthusiast Maximillian gets the opportunity to interview Adam Heart from Iron Galaxy Studios, the new lead developers for the Xbox One's popular fighting game title Killer Instinct. In this video, they discuss TJ Combo's capability as a character including how so far, he's the only character to come with a new mechanic called Aerial Recapture which allows him to cash out on more damage after an air juggle. This ability may be distributed to the rest of the cast in time, but that has to be yet seen.

Also discussed is Iron Galaxy's approach to balancing out the game as more content is added. A must-watch for you KI fanatics!

Lastly, the developers said that Double Helix set a very high standard for this game and they will continue to make each character unique and interesting.

Some questionable stuff IG is doing but I can see they're excited about development which makes me excited.
The best thing they said is that they are dedicated to bringing back old characters. IMO this pretty much confirms Riptot & Cinder...so I'm happy.

The only thing that's slightly disappointing is that with the announcement of MKX all other fighting games on this forum pretty much became irrelevant.

I mean I love KI, but MKX...come on.

This is TYM!!!

I really hope they don't make all Season 2 characters so good and broken that every character Double Helix made becomes irrelevant. Double Helix did an AMAZING job on all 8 Season 1 characters, and although I really love TJ's style of play, he looks really underwhelming and out of place. I was hoping for a drastic change in the look of that character, not Patrick Ewing dressed like Apollo Creed. Regardless, even if his look stays the same, he's always been my favorite KI character and I look forward to trying him out.

I thought it was cool that he mentioned they would be avoiding any sort of nerfs or buffs until after TJ and his mechanics had a chance to develop and mature the meta. The game is pretty solid as is, too many drastic changes could really mess things up.
