We've been testing this new Mame version for about two weeks now and so far so good, no major bugs found. If you want a download link you can private message me, and I think there's two Facebook group's that have the link also.

MAME++ 0.129 [Beta] Jul 16, 2020

New Games Added:
-----------------------

UMK3 Team Edition v2.0 (60fps)

UMK3 Ultimate Cup Edition [200703] (updated)

Mortal Kombat II (rev L3.1) (60fps)

Emulator changes:
----------------------

MAME 0.129 has 1 less frame of input delay (roughly 18ms) than MAME 0.119.

Multi-threading is forced enabled for online play. This option is forced off in MAME 0.119 when playing online.

Frameskipping is set to 0 when playing online. MAME 0.119 has this option forced to auto when playing online.

Lagstat for server was added, the default key is F5.

Lagreset for server was added, the default key is F6.

I removed about 3,000 older games (mostly from the late 70's and early 80's), to get the emulator to load faster. For some
reason the newer MAME Plus! versions started loading slower and it kind of bothered me.

Some matches from about a week ago. UMK3 - 3 on 3 Team Kombat (6 players) 60fps.

There's a new Mame version, it's been tested for about a day so far. If you want a link you could private message me on here or get it on Facebook, in one of the UMK3 groups. The "kaillera friendly sp2" games are an update to the regular kaillera friendly games and those games were replaced.

Ultimate MKII - Tournament Edition [kaillera friendly sp2] (60fps)

WWF: ACID CLOWN EDITION [SP1]

Emulator changes:
---------------------

The "kaillera friendly sp2" games and WWF: ACID CLOWN EDITION have kaillera nick names added when playing online. These games have other changes as well, @KOHR has a list.

The positioning was fixed for the kaillera nick names when using @KOHR's MKAK sidebars pack.

The cheat menu was added, in the config menu. This wasn't actually a change to the emulator, the cheat.dat file changed to XML format somewhere around Mame 0.127 and the closest one I could find was for Mame 0.130, so this was edited to work with Mame 0.129. Only the MK games were included, but Other games could be added easily.

Fixed bug: When using the "Show Command List" on kaillera, it would crash the emulator.

Fixed bug: If "forceuse_dinput" was enabled in the config file, buttons would still register in-game even if the chatbox was open (keyboard players).

Fixed bug: When using @KOHR's MKAK sidebars pack, "Save Snapshot" would include the sidebars in the snapshot of the game and it also had an incorrect aspect ratio.

A "Bad dump" warning message was removed for MK3, when doing a rom audit.

Service 1 was added back to the button config menu for all games except the MK and Killer Instinct games. It was removed in the first beta because of desyncing issues online, but not all games have this problem so it was put back.

Tilt, Volume Up, and Volume Down were removed from the button config menu (for all games) because of desyncing issues online. This was actually done in the first beta, but I forgot to list it.

Service Mode (F2 menu) was added to the button config menu for MK2. The F2 menu was still functional without it, but it would desync online.

Bill 1 was removed from the button config menu for the Killer Instinct games, because it desyncs online.

If F5 or F6 is pressed on a server that doesn't support lagstat and lagreset, a message will appear in the game chat that says "This feature is not supported by the server". Same thing for p2p.

The player names for MK1 and MK2 were added, MKAK style...
