Mame/Kaillera for Mac OS Thread & Mame Discussion

Hey guys, I searched for anything related to or tutorial for playing Mame on Mac. I am not too tech savvy which is why I always preferred to play on consoles as they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more convenient in general.

Can anyone please help me? I want to play on Mame but I don't have a PC anymore, only Mac.

1) Can I play a good version of Mame on Mac?

2) Will I be able to play with people that are on PC?

3) Minimum specs required in general to run it decently? (mac or pc)

All I have currently is a MacBook Pro.

With the releases of UMK2:TE and UMK3:TE, I want to be able to play them!

Any help would be so greatly appreciated… Thank You.

Sorry I tagged you brotha but your one of the main Kailerra Kat's playing these days from what I can tell and was hoping maybe you could help me, with Mac/Apple ?

I've never owned a Mac, but I know there's a Mac MAME for OS X. I'm not sure if you can play online though.

I've seen MAME run on PS2's and Xbox's also, I'm just not sure about the online capability.

Here's a download link to the latest OS X version. I clicked on Release Notes and there is a .119 version (you might want to try that one).
