According to the Hollywood Reporter, Machinima, which is a YouTube network for gamers, has purchased ad run time on AMC's "The Talking Dead" that runs after AMC's "The Walking Dead". It is noted that this the first time a YouTube network has purchased ad time for traditional television. They ran 60 second commercial with parts of Mortal Kombat Legacy Series 2's trailer being shown.
To see the commercial head out to the HollywoodReporter! (note: they mention Cary Tagawa playing Scorpion in the 1995 film while he actually played Shang Tsung, just like in Legacy 2)
"Machinima says it has purchased ad time on The Talking Dead, the TV show that AMC runs after The Walking Dead, thus becoming the first YouTube network to buy an ad that will air on traditional television. The 60-second commercial is for Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2, a multi-part, live-action online series."
Or just rewatch the trailer for season 2:
This means nothing but good things for MK: Legacy as it is putting that much more exposure on the Legacy series as well as the franchise.
