This works in Blood God / no variation as well.

If you parry the same time Quan loads up a bat, Kotal can do anything through the Bat Grab.
Walk, attack, build matter, teabag.. whatever.

Of course situational, but unfortunately only against the throw (DF3)

Quan's Bat Grab works like a command grab. Pretty much like what Erron Blacks command grab is now. Mace parry probably does this with all command grabs. I think this is working as intended. Also you can back dash out of getting hit by the bat, except for the fireball, at that range. No need to use a special.
