Looking for a Laptop: Damn the Budget $2,000

This thread is coming Live from Biloxi Mississippi Hard Rock Hotel & Casino! Cashing out 6000 in chips! Thus I began to get to thinking...

That is the flip box I'm thinking about. My friend has had one for a few months and still no performance drops and no signs of slowing down. Better display / RAM / Benchmarks / Temperatures than the "all mighty" Razer Blade Pro without sacrificing too much in the size department. I've Nightwinged around with the Razer and its alright. However its more expensive for less of that kick. Since I've got an Live Gamer Portable. I'd like to have a portable render machine as well. I'm sitting here on vacation with my day-to-day gift laptop Alienware M14X (R2). I told them not to buy Alienware, because their notebooks leave a lot to be desired.

This M14X only came with 6GB Ram. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00 GHz (No OC) Which is fine and dandy really but is underwhelming for intensive use. Also this build cost the buyer 2100... which is more expensive (AGAIN) for much less power than the behemoth from MSI.

Now it should be noted, this isn't going to be used as a primary gaming hub. I have a desktop and PS4 for that kind of thing. This is mainly for a portable rendering/vacation/take to classes kind of thing.

Any other suggestions you guys want to throw at me for a laptop? Or hell even be as so bold to take my aforementioned opinions and experiences and break them upon bended knee to tell Black "Free-on" why he's so wrong. Why my wallet lives free and dies flaccid? Then go right ahead!
