Live in Japan, what version of PS3 should I get: US, Asian, or wait for JP

I hear the online play is region locked. Has anyone figured out the specific regions yet?

Perhaps you should wait for the Japanese version of the game?
With region-locking, the matchmaking is designed with only the player's region in mind. The stability of your matches will probably be shaky when playing with people outside your region.

Yea, that would definitely be the safest, the only problem is the entire game will be dubbed in Japanese lol.... sometimes they group Japan in the general "Asian" region, which means the Asian region will allow me to play with the Japanese region. I guess its just too soon to tell though.

I was about to say that only the region locking would be a problem, didn't know you couldn't read the language.

Get an xbox and play me on there, I'm in Korea.

If you end up picking up the JP version and you end up being able to get matches against Asian fellers, lemme know and I'll pick up the same version for my PS3.
