As the title implies.
It should be noted that most generic d2s can usually beat empty forward jump from 214xxFBC, but not if he does FJK or air teleport. This list only covers the armored reversals that can beat either/both options. The point of this is better understand how to pressure different characters, since matchup specifics are a big part of this game. I'm also listing only armored reversals because that's what the opponent wants to use when pressured.
So the options tested are all from 214xxFBC on block and include; empty forward jump, forward jump into FJ3xxTeleport(FJK), forward jump into air teleport, and teleport on it's own.
I was planning on adding a recommended followup per-character, but then I realized that's more player-specific than character-specific so I won't.
Kung Lao: tempest EX spin beats everything but is unsafe. Other variations, spin beats jump but not teleport.
Shinnok: X-ray beats empty forward jump and teleport.
Jax: Major muscle hits if scorpion does air teleport. pumped up's gotcha extreme beats forward jump options.
Kano: Uprise ball beats all forward jump options unless Scorpion does air teleport. Commando's high kounter beats teleport.
Sonya: X-ray beats teleport, and jump attacks but not empty jump. Covert ops' garrote party beats teleport but nothing from forward jump.
Johnny Cage: ultra flipkick beats most forward jump options but not air teleport.
Kenshi: Kenjutsu's blade-nado occasionally beats FJK, but not reliably. Balanced's spirit charge and Karma eruption beat FJK. Possessed's Sickle strike beats FJK, and soul charge sometimes beats FJK, and his demon port beats teleport, sort of. X-ray beats FJK
Erron Black: No armored reversals beat any of the specified options.
Kitana: Rising blades beats FJK. X-ray occasionally beats FJK.
Liu Kang: Flame fist parry beats teleport. Dragon Fire's Double dragon Strike beats FJK.
Scorpion: No armored reversals beat any of the specified options (ironic). However, his own teleport can escape from 214xxFBC, 214 reps, and does beat all specified options except for empty jump and air teleport.
Ermac: his teleport does not have armor but beats all specified options except for delayed air teleport. Note that his teleport does not escape 214xxFBC reps. Mystic's Levitate can beat early FJKs and air teleports. master of Souls' vanish beats all specified options.
Kotal Kahn: master mace parry beats teleport. His anti-air throw does not have armor but beats all jump-related options.
Sub-Zero: Cryomancer/Grandmaster's Frost bomb beats FJK. Unbreakable's Barrier of ice beats teleport.
Reptile: No armored reversals beat any of the specified options.
Mileena: X-ray beats teleport.
Ferra/Torr: Lackey's Torr Smash beats FJK. tuck'n'trample beats FJK.
Takeda: Ronin's blade kall beats FJK if the blade is already set. Shirai Ryu's teleport beats Scorpion's teleport, but it doesn't have armor. Lasher's whip thrash beats all specified options except empty forward jump (oddly).
D'vorah: X-ray beats empty forward jump and air teleport.
Cassie Cage: diving glow kick beats air teleport. X-ray beats FJK but will drop the combo and only do 11% damage. Power flip occasionally beats FJK.
Raiden: Vicinity burst beats all specified options, but is interrupted by 214 reps. Thunder strike beats FJK. X-ray beats everything. Displacer's sparkport beats everything.
Jacqui: no armored reversals beat any of the specified options.
Quan Chi: Skydrop beats all specified options, but can be interrupted by 214 reps. Only Warlock's portal slam can interrupt these reps.
Kung Jin: Fly Kick beats FJK. Shaolin up kick beats FJK. Bojutsu bo spin beats FJK.
Goro: Krush beats all jump-related options. Tigrar fury's Dragon fangs beats FJK. Kuatan Warrior's Chest Charge sometimes beats FJK.
