Question Lex Probe Glitch

Has anyone else come across the lex probe glitch? In a few matches i was having with @Ashenar i had a glitch happen 3 times where when i went to toss the probe into orbit, it got stuck at chest level and fired from there instead. All that changed was the positioning of the probe but i can see some neat tricks coming out of this, I've tried to recreate it for a few minutes the other day but was unsuccessful in training mode.

Anyone experience or have an idea on what this is?

Yeah, had it happen once in training when I was trying out mine tech. Its really funny when you MB it and it happens. Nipple lazers.

However, I havent been able to replicate it freely either. It just randomly happens.

From what i can recall it happened whenever i entered another input during the launch, like mashing another one out. I'm going to work on it tonight and see what i come out with. The most i know is that it is not dependent on a random hit during the launch by your opponent.

That could be pretty usefull in certain matchups. It's all theory, but wouldn't that make it harder to avoid?

Wait, does the probe stick to you? Like Lex becomes a walking turret?

only on startup then it detaches and stays in the vicinity where it launched, it kind of looks like lex accidentally put it on his chest
