Leveling up before MKX release

Hi TYM!

I just want to start by saying I am so HYPED for MKX. I would like to become part of the competitive scene including going to local events and maybe even EVO in the future. Before I get ahead of myself I need to learn solid fundamentals and just level up overall. I'm looking for anyone who is willing to "take me under their wing" to help out with giving me tips and general advice to help me increase my skill level in fighting games before the release of MKX.

Even if you just want a punching bag for some matches for a while I am more than happy to thrown down!

I am primary playing Injustice currently but I am happy to jump on MK9 as well!

Im considering gettting an Xbox one for killer instinct, but I am mostly interested in getting prepared for MKX. If xbone is the standard then I will end up getting one of those! I only have ps3 and ps4 for now.

What area are you from? It's probably unlikely but if you're anywhere near the Los Angeles area, you should probably kome down to WNF some time and I'll try to help you out as much as I kan. (Right now there is no WNF though due to renovations)
