Hey,
Last time I played MK was on some 8-bit NES clone at my friend's b-day party way back. Not going to lie but about 20 something years ago. Since then I've tried to get into fighting games but lazy as I am I never committed more than a couple hours to each - MMO-s, RPG-s, and stuff like that seemed more accessible. Even when I got my Xbox One a year or so ago and KI was free I felt discouraged by the fact that I couldn't complete Dojos as soon as they got a tad more difficult. I can run around in FPS-s, make headshots etc but I can't make a Z movement on my controller (OK OK I did a couple last night after trying for 30 mins).
This time around I'm ditching the Leagues, Hearths, Terrarias, GTAs and Titanfalls. I pre-purchased MKX with USD (for the savings), I pre-loaded it with NZ region (possibility for earlier access) and I'm planning on playing and studying this game as much as my work, life and significant other allows me to.
I'm from Europe, if it matters at all.
