Hey ho, I'm Mike, and I'm from the UK.
I've been part of the FGC for a good three years now. I've been a Marvel player for the majority of that time, though my first game was SSF4. I'm now playing Injustice as my main game, primarily because I don't really have time to get good at two games at the same time, and also because competitive Marvel is horrible. Oh, and because Injustice is gewd.
As you can tell, I'm new to the TYM forums. I've browsed the website a few times in the past and more recently, but I thought it was about time to make a profile and join the club. Being from the UK, I'll be paying attention to any tournaments posted here. Though here are two questions I'd like to ask.
1) I'm fully aware of the UK scene, and it's best players. However, I don't specifically know of anyone in the South. I'm considered a London player, but I actually have to travel into London, as I live in Hampshire. So I was curious if anyone knows of players in or around Hampshire? Would be good to travel for casuals, without having to pay for overground trains/underground etc. I've looked on the "world" thread but there doesn't seem to be much there.
2) More a TYM general query, every time I go on a "match up" thread for a character, it has those "toggle spoiler" buttons, right? Though everyone I click, the description doesn't show, it goes down a tiny amount, and I can see the top of the first word, but that's about it. Anyone else have this problem? I'm using Firefox on Mac is that's any help.
