Hey guys just wanted to here why some people really enjoy watching great game footage of great players, I personally watch streams, tournaments, and long sets of gameplay because

1. I just like to watch it

2. Its great see other players play at a high level

3. (Most important) As I watch great players like King, Arma, KDZ, and Pig of the hut I try n see what a players tendencies are and if I think i have noticed something good I make a "note" about it. For example if I see that a player likes to wake up attack I make a mental note during the match n after its over I put it in my "notes" I have notes on every top player in my iPhone so if the time comes to where I have to play them during a tournament I kinda already have some type of idea on what they will be doing majority of the match. So please let me know how you make ur own "notes" on top player or ask me questions about my "notes" strategy thanks :D

Lol ok ok ok ill try to explain. So while your watching game footage of top players playing what do you do, do u watch just because u enjoy watching it, do you watch it to learn new things about the game, or do u watch it to make "notes" About a certain type if player? If you notice a top player that likes to wake up alot are u the type of person to just let it fly over ur head or when its ur turn to play that player u already have an idea on what they are going to do

K I got it. The thread title doesn't make much sense relative to the OP. But I watch because I like watching, learning new things is an added bonus, not why I watch.

I watch my own and other player's match footage a lot to try and get in the minds of the players. For example, let's say a player lands a clutch jump in to win a set. I'll look at that and go back through the set to try and see what clues the player had that it would work, what info they might have noticed that lead them to that successful read. I then look for similar things when I play the next time, and try to apply what I learned.

I watched DarthArma play and noted that he switches the B23 string with slide when your health is very low. Usually for the round.
But I watch it for the enjoyment n to take notes
