General/Other - Kung Lao Kung Lao's Meter GAIN Glitch Discussion

Someone please tag the appropriate combo breaker TOs as I don't know who they are.

Kung Lao currently gets a free bar of meter by inputting a wakeup teleport. Spectral ermac was banned for this exact reason. All of kung lao variations get this.

Your thoughts?

EDIT: wakeup hat toss does the same thing. If you get knocked full screen... free bar. Kthx.

They soft banned Spec Ermac for the meter gaining bug he had so if this is the same concept then I think the community would do the same.

Well, TOs banned spectral ermac for the exact same reason. Don't see why this wouldn't apply to KL.

I agree, it's different to ban 1 Variation than 1 whole character. But if it comes down to it, I think KL should be allowed. It's too close to make a Major change to this close to a tournament.
