It doesnt feel fast and can't be dash canceled.

The dash cancel got nerfed off bola and mace day 1.
But up mace is still there and working.

It's also used to keep them from jumping over mid mace as a guess. It also makes certain things safe if used sparingly.

I find the variations from private koth and 1v1 kompetion differ from other modes meaning the variations. I know some times it is there and some times it is not, plus my buddy experiences the same thing with a jade move assassin something. Wasn't there 3 veriations for each character in the kombatkast; What happened? Over!

His tournament variation has up mace the one with the command grab.

Go to customize select new one, go to select presets under ability tab. This allows you to see the two tournament variations they have trophies next to them.
