Kollector BNB Combos

Easiest combos because... I dont do well with complicated combos. :)

F4, DB3 (enhance with R1 also)
F121D1 (ends low)
F121D2 (ends overhead)


I'll update with other combos I find and that others post as well.

This thread is more for the inputs to help others, rather than just video.

Here's what I got so far

Starup 13 frames and low, can hit confirm.
F1,2 DB3 - 184dmg
F1,2 BF4mb, 2,1+3 - 197dmg + restand

Best I have for optimal damage

F1,2 BF4mb, jump in 1, F1,2 DB3 - 271dmg

Damage can be further increased by starting with a jump in on any combo. You may be able to fit in jump 2s instead but the timing seems really tight.

All these combos work of F3 as well which works great at a distance. At max range F1,2 in to BF4 will not connect for some reason, hoping this gets addressed in a patch, it's pretty annoying and BF4 is punishable so watch out.

Off Krushing Blows I got:

KB, F2,2, DB3 - 320dmg
KB, F2,2, BF4mb, F1,2 DB3 - 379dmg

KB 2,1+3 - 275dmg + restand
KB, F2,2, BF4mb 2,1+3 - 331dmg + restand

after Krushing blows I need to dash into 1,3 ... I didn't try F2,2 to be honest ... I only started practicing today :p

I need to find a good corner combo as well.

But in general the game play of Kollector is insanely fun ... crazy mid-range combos on whiff which are all unbreakable :)

Can 1,3,1 be comboed off of at all?! I don't understand why they would give him something that looks like a giant launcher but isn't. It's weird lol.

EDIT: is there any way to control how Krushing Blows come out or is it random?
In the controls you can make it so KBs only happen if you hold the button (eg: even if you d2 under a high you can choose if you want it to KB by holding the button or saving it for later if you don't hold the button).
The default is them being done as soon as the requirement is fulfilled.

Not sure... I'll try and see if I find anything.

Also, B4... low popup... it has nothing as a followup?

He feels like an incomplete character.
b4 is universally a sweep, can't combo after them. Kollector's looks cool but it's still a sweep lol.


For combos with Kollector you got: Enhanced Bola, 32 and command grab krushing blows, vial toss with fire on the ground, cancelling from strings.
He doesn't have launching strings or specials that pop up outside of the ones listed above.

So your combos are generally gonna look something like this:
string starter (f12, f22, 44, 13, f4, f3, b12) cancelled to enhanced Bola, then jump 1 into ground string cancelled to db3 ender or jump 3 into f3 xx db3 or command grab midscreen, or a bit more a bit more in the corner (j3 d1 d1 f12 xx ender works)

You can do slight walk forward 1,3, ex bola into standard ender after you get a crushing blow. At least with the 3,2 kb for sure.

He gets really good damage, for kollector, doing f3, ex bola, jump in 3 f3 db3 after. Its 34 % off a decent range 2 hit low.

However, that being said, if you’re not a huge fan of the command grab you can sub it out for Relic Lure which is IMO a more reliable combo ender, plus you can enhance it for an extra pop up. My bnb looks more like this

I can’t hit his KBs reliably and I’m not sure how to get them to trigger in practice so I haven’t tried converting that off one of those yet but I’d like to see someone try!

You can also finish the 32KB with B122 string

Best damage midscreen (I think) for 1 bar is F4-BF4MB-JiK(late)-F3-DB3 for 312dmg

It’s super useful for big combos in the corner though, virtually any string will land and carry pretty well if timed right.

Nah it's because you have to be holding block for the crushing blow. Set the ai to duck and hold block. Itll connect then. Pre patch 3 had to actually wiff for the kb to work. They changed that so you can connect with the 3 now.
 
Also the amount of damage you get off of the command grab kb is literally fucking insane. It's too bad it requires the opponent to roll, but you easily get 47 percent off of it if you ever get it.

I know that, still wasn’t working. Had the AI set to duck on block, 3 always whiffs no matter the range and then when 2 connects I get no KB. Could be a hitbox issue with whoever I was using it on? I noticed Baraka’s b2 goes clean over Noob Saibot’s head at certain distances but not others so maybe there are inconsistencies.

You have it set to block when hit which isnt the same. Have it set to hold block. Trust me itll work.

Yeah but I am getting stuffed or kounter poked sometimes from ex bola ... it's annoying

My main BNB combo so far is the one you mentioned but I don't start with f3 I start with f4 or f1,2

K been working with this guy a lil found his main BnB IMO is gonna be MB Bola
his best ender is F3 db3, this is wear you get some good damage out of him and it leave the opponent on the ground at an ideal place for you ur zoning, the Vials are so far his best tool from what I can tell.

The Kollector has combo conversion problems currently with his bolas when you hit a string at max range. The chakram doesn't have these problems and you can even link 44 with chakram for a full combo. I hope they fix the bolas not connecting sometimes though because i do enjoy throwing out -15 cancels with them every now and then.
 
It's character dependant, but I managed to combo F12, BF4 mb, 443, DB3. You have to be very close to the opponent for the DB3 to connect, but that's obviously no problem with the meter bolas.
Worked on Kitana, did not work on Jax. No idea why and ran out of time to further test on more characters...
Oh, played on PC, so version 1.03 still.
