General/Other Kitana Meter Building Data

Aidan

The Marvelous Meter Man
This is a continuation of my Meter Building project for all of the characters. This data gives you the basic tools for perfecting your meter game, so that's why there are only basic combos and specials. For block strings or more advanced combos you need to do the math yourself. Check out the General Meter Building Data Information.
For blocked normals and specials, they all build 8.996212121% (for simplicity 8.996%) of meter per hit. So if you hit someone with 112 on block you build 26.988% because they were hit by 3 normals.
For blocked specials, you build meter on the initial use of the special and the extra meter because it was blocked. For example, if you use Square Boost you build the initial 3.725% of meter, but if it hits a blocking opponent then you add 8.996% which results in 12.722% of meter build.
This applies to all characters so Jax or Rain for example build the same 8.996% on block.
There is no initial gain from EX attacks.
You also build meter by taking damage.
It takes 48% damage to build one bar.
This general information will tell you specifically how much build by the amount of damage you take.
You don't build meter when taking block chip damage.

What I find interesting here is that f312 gives you the most meter. I guess it's possibly not useless as a blockstring after a connected cutter?

qweeler ,

could you find the meter data for 112~cutter and f31~cutter?

I would avoid f312 due to not being able to tack a special on the end. Any other block string and you can throw another cutter or a low spin kick mixup on the end for mind games.

You can cancel the 1 in f312 into a special, right? I'm just interested in whether or not f312 or f31~cutter would build more meter than 112~cutter

That is true. U can cancel off the 1 into special. Would be interesting to see that stat on that.

You can only cancel f31~ in the corner for 50.956%, you cant cancel f312. It will not work midscreen because the second hit of 1 will whiff so you can't connect a cutter or any other special. So f312 midscreen only builds 26.997%. 112~cutter builds 50.956% in the corner or midscreen.
