TylerLantern has become a very respectable name in the combo artist community known primarily for his work with not only Mortal Kombat 9 but also Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. What some may not know however, is that TylerLantern also bears the skills and has roots in the very classic fighting game, Killer Instinct. Now, this video is in no means 'new', in fact it's closer to almost 2 years old. Check TylerLantern out in a way you may have never seen.

I have been getting a lot of requests lately to do a Killer Instinct 1 SNES combo video, but what these people do not realize is that I did a Killer Instinct 1 SNES combo video about a year ago. So, I figured I would post it up here for you guys to check out. It contains each characters biggest Killer Combos and Ultra Combos. It also showcases each characters Ultimate Combos, but some I have made bigger since, so the Ultimate Combos are not all the biggest they can be, but the Killers and Ultras are. Anyways, check it out if you get a chance. By the way, this was done on a real SNES, not MAME or an emulator.

Wow this takes me back. Strangely, I can remember how to do Jago's Ultra combo.. you just needed to link his weak flying kick at the end of a combo.

I really need to get an emulator and play this again.. so many memories.

i never understood how to you do combos in this game, do you just randomly tap buttons?
No, there were sequences in which you had to press the buttons, just about like any fighting game really, and most combos used specials in the middle of them or at the end of them. The combo system sort of reminds me of UMK3 combos. I don't think any fighting game that is combo based has ever had combos where you randomly hit buttons.
