Kentucky Thread - Show Some KYMK Love.

Anyone in the KY area play MK or is interested? Post up! I will be posting up a list of players that I know of that are interested in MK, maybe we can get some tournaments or get together's too, hell, I would be willing to set up a stream monthly if there is enough interest.

I'm in the state.... but way west. I figure you guys are all centrally located right? If you keep the thread updated, I may be able to make weekend stuff every now and again, I have family close to the Louisville area.

Just wanted to drop in a give a shout out to ViciousShogun, StillSmokedOut and PsychoJoseph. Thanks a bunch for attending PTS this weekend, we greatly appreciated the distance you had to travel to be there! Especially you Shogun with your top 8 showing, way to rep KY!

Murray. I'm literally 20 mins from both the Missouri and Tenn. borders!!! LOL.

Like I said though, i'm a student, and make enough money to be able to travel the 3 hours or so to hang out if that is the case.

WOOOOO! I have plans to throw a offline tourney in early feb for AE and MK. If interested we can work out a date. Besides that add me and I will play glad to play.

It looks like we have a pretty sizable amount of interest. I encourage those who have xbox live to get a mic, I would like to have a xbox party and discuss these things with everyone at some point.

The online tourney thing going on really pumped me to get offline. I was this close to top 8!!! :) Good luck in your pool Shogun.

Ohh, so you were charliemurphy? Good shit man, I seen your matches on stream, impressive sub play! Thanks for the love, im 1 bar with alot of the guys in my pool though so =/ I hate lag. You should add me on xbox asap! NightmareShogun.

I will not have my mic until I return to morehead, I am here in Pikefail with the family until then. I did not expect to get into MK over the break, but I did.

I am trying to promote fighting games in the morehead area by starting a club. I have myself and 3 others interested in this game and others, but we haven't promoted it. I am going to go big with flyers in my area and my hopes is that this offline tourney will not only bring KY MK players together, but create the foundation of a local scene.

I am not very good, but I love the game I've played the series since I was 6 on SNES. This club I am trying to create will involve local players with a passion to play fighting games on the higher level. I encourage all KY to play, but in order to get better there needs to be a local scene. I plan to go to FR XV and I want to at least be able to increase my execution skills under pressure. Regardless I hope we all can meet up offline one day and just spar like hell, because its gonna take that to go beyond where we are now. Add me if you haven't already and I will def play you, but remember I am no master I am still trying to get Kabal's insane level of execution down pat and I do tend to get a little hectic. Anywho peace for now KY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This sounds like an awesome opportunity. Would be a blast to get in some offline casuals with quality players and quality individuals. As I've told Shogun, count me in.

Ok sounds like its time for more kasual matches at the BlueGrass Magic Shop. Myself and smokedout will be up there Saturday, send me a PM if you can make it........ Who want a shot at the 2 week resetting POS Cyrax ????
