hrmm a kaillera sticky might be dope.... for those of you who don't want to watch those annoying videos, I'll give a quick rundown on how to get kaillera rockin.
1: put mame.exe and kaillera.dll in the same folder, extract mame.exe
2: put roms in rom directory in same folder (x:/mame32k/roms/)
3: once mame is started, hit f5 to refresh game list
4: right click on any game in the list go to play network game
I suggest the God Weapons server k.god-weapon.com:27888
depending on where you got your kailleraclient.dll from, it may have a bad master server. I suggest the suprafast client, or the nov P2P client. As well 0.64 is what most people use on kaillera (it's not the best, but it is the best
)
if you're using a controller, on the main screen w/ the game list, go to options, default options, controllers, use joystick... once you're in game hit tab and bind your controller, buttons are 1 = hp 2 = hk 3 = block 4= lp 5= lk (u/mk3&4 6 = run) As well, if you're using a newer mame, the buttons are a little different, i think 2 is block and 3 is hk...
