Before EVO, the community was discussing how Kabal should be banned or how overpowered/unstoppable Kabal was. Matchups that were considered 7-3 in Kabals favor are now being considered 6-4 (and even 5-5) by the community. Although Kabal is still the most hated character in the game due to his tools, people are learning how to play against Kabal.

I think Kabal has gotten a lot better now than he was before. A year ago, a lot of players thought matches like Kung Lao were 5-5 with Kabal. Now Kabal is being discussed as whether or not he should be banned at NEC, here.
