I'll be moving up to watertown around August. I'm currently in NC and the MK scene here is..rough, atleast from what I've seen. I imagine the NY scene is pretty hype, in the city atleast, and I'm just trying to get a heads up on what's going on. Thanks for the help.

We've got a small but active scene in Asheville; however, everything's so damn spread out in NC. So everything is an hour + drive for us in Western NC.

Yeah I'm hoping to make it to a RESE tourney before I leave. Trying to find a good offline scene because I'm pretty much done with mk online, it's a joke.

Good luck... Basically you're 4 hours away from the city. You'll need expressed permission from your 1SGT to go anywhere past like 100 miles... it sucks. I was stationed there for years. They do love to deploy, so you won't be spending much time at home anyways...
