Texarkana is a great meeting point for all players in the community around the ark-la-tex area to come together, duke it out, and have a great time. Players from Central Arkansas, Dallas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and anywhere else all over the nation are welcome to come!

Games to be featured in double elimination brackets will be will be:
Street Fighter X Tekken (Xbox 360)
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (Xbox 360)
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (Xbox 360)
Mortal Kombat 9 (PS3)
Soul Calibur V (PS3)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
Also, there will be a 2v2 SF X T doubles tourney if time allows.
Introducing the regional 5 v 5 Championship: Players from each region of the ark-la-tex will compete in a multi-game challenge to determine which region can be crowned as the best fighting game players around.

A player will be chosen from each team to represent each of the 5 games included: SFXT, SSFIVAE2012, UMVC3, MK9, and SCV. Round Robin brackets will be held, meaning each team will face each other, no matter what. When two teams collide, each member of the team plays against the corresponding member of the opposing team in their corresponding game. Whichever team wins 3 out of 5 games wins that round and earns points.

After every team has faced each other, the team with the most points becomes the ark-la-tex regional champions!


Registration starts @ 12 noon. Tournament starts @ 2pm.
$10 entry fee. $10 per game. (Brawl will be $5, unless the brawl players decide otherwise).
Each games pot will be split 70/20/10.
Additional prizes may be awarded to finishes beyond top 3. (still to be determined)
The regional 5 v 5 Championship will be $50 per team, and the winning team will receive the entire pot!

Rules:
Double Elimination.
Console specific characters banned. (kratos, cole, etc.)
All tournaments are best 2 out of 3 games, except for winners finals, losers finals, and grand finals, which are 3 out of 5 games.
No game breaking glitches allowed.
