Jax for my lack of up close game?

Hey everyone, my up close game is lacking and was thinking of picking up a new character to maybe force me too learn it. Would jax be the thing i need? I play Kabal right now and would like to improve my overall close up game with him also.

Kabal is good with everything. His zoning, his upclose-pressure, his projectiles...

Just learn Kabal's dash-game and you have just beaten 90% online.

I know Kabal is pretty much great all around, just looking for a little something different because I am getting bored of him and want to work on the weakest part of my play, so want a character that pretty much makes you be good up close heh.

after trying both of them i think iam going with jax, seems fun to play and canceling ground pounds doesn't give me carpal tunnel like Kabal cancels do.
