It's Time. Online Killer Instinct Tournaments.

With the inclusion of lobbies it is finally time for us as a community to start hosting some online tournaments.

The netcode is just fantastic compared to anything NRS has ever put out, and those with good connections can stream natively from their console.

I am creating this thread to gauge interest for potential online tournaments to catch everything new and experienced up to the current meta (It shifts rapidly in this game).

It would be a great way to come together as a community and for newer players to get their feet wet competitively.

Who would be interested in such a thing on a Sunday evening in the near future?

hmmmm I don't know... even with great netcode playing online is not even close to the same as having your opponent sitting next to you.

It's even better because we can have the streamer, the people in the match that's being streamed, the people who are in the NEXT match that's going to be streamed, and the people in the match AFTER that all in the same lobby. That "spectate" feature is brilliant.

I'm game. Not very good but tourneys are always fun and KI is dead in Michigan as far as I know.

The spectate feature that @ShadowBeatz mentioned makes it insanely easy to host and stream all matches. The streamer never has to leave their room. They just invite opponents when it's time for their match.
