Is there a way to mute people in character select?

There should be if there isn't

too many screechy players for my liking right now and this just seems like a given. Not all of us are trolling online looking for people with mics to rage for their totes hilar YouTube videos

+1. Except it's always someone with bad music blaring and their tv up too loud so it's echoing through their mic with their buddy in the background trying to spit game over his iphone speaker

While this is a nice option, there should be an ingame mute button. Or at least an option in the options menu to mute/turn off audio chat
