Is it just me?

Hey everyone. I was wondering if it was just me, or does MKX seem... off. It feels to me like a massive step down from MK9 and Injustice. In online, I was top 30 in MK9 and top 300 in Injustice. Just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way

It's just you I think. I'm loving this game very much, and I feel like i'm better at it now than I ever was at Injustice and MK9. Mind you Quan Chi was cheeks in MK9...

Well, I loved MK9. Injustice was ok to me, but MKX...well, I think it's superior to both of those game. It definitely took a little bit of time to get use to the differences, but I like it more.

MKX is better than 9 in many ways, but there are many things that I love more about 9. Mileena's character design was better in 9 and the execution barrier is slightly off putting in MKX for me. I still have to do a lot of practice but in MK9, things we're not so difficult to pick up smoothly.

I thought the same about injustice I'll admit. 6 months later I loved the way the game felt. Difference here is that I already love how MKX feels, I can't wait to see the tech that this game brings once the meta starts evolving.

This game is definitely a more technical one, and I´m loving it for that. It´s a real challenge for me. My roommate who played mk9 seriously with me for 3 years, and is a great MVC2 player, had no intention of playing MKX. And he´s been sucked by how cool the game feels.

It's hard getting used to the run command, so movement can feel clunky and mechanical at first. I assume that it just takes some time to drill into your muscle memory, and will take me a while to get there. Although, part of me feels like making run a three button command instead of a run-button when the switch stance button is over there doing nothing was just a way to up the game's execution requirements just for the sake of doing so. Some specials use the stance button, but they could have just as easily used two attack buttons like a lot of strings do.

But, it is what it is.

It feels a lot better than MK9 for me.
In fact, MK9 feels really really sluggish after playing Injustice and MKX.

However, I do notice mechanic changes compared to Injustice, especially in regards to EX special moves, which actually does not make me happy (I prefered the Injustice mechanics to MKX)
