Elbow Dash also sets up Mixups, 50-50s and strong mind games when whiffed.Reptile's Run is slow af, so most of the time you want to use dash or Elbow Dash.
Dash is also used in combos where tiiming-wise it's better to dash than to run.
lol, The fun of this mechanic of Running and blocking on the same button is what makes it fun, it adds new layers of execution barriers. They should have made 'dash', 'run' instead of having a separate button. Pros, hardcore MK gamers might feel the need for it but us amateurs think its too much. It would make FBC a lot more doable as well.
Would FF(run) block not be the same thing tho?lol, The fun of this mechanic of Running and blocking on the same button is what makes it fun, it adds new layers of execution barriers.
If you don't delay for 2 frames it counts as a buffered input then you will end up running.Would FF(run) block not be the same thing tho?
Well I rarely notice pros using dash forward. They would mostly run. They should have made 'dash', 'run' instead of having a separate button. Pros, hardcore MK gamers might feel the need for it but us amateurs think its too much. It would make FBC a lot more doable as well.
I meant if FF was run & you had to press block to cancel, would it not work the same way but just be a bit easier to do?If you don't delay for 2 frames it counts as a buffered input then you will end up running.
Yeah I no that, just think MKX is directed at pros, very good MK players, hardcore gamers who can spend a lot of time on the game. I don't think its for the newer players, with all these FBC & silly 50\50's, it makes some ppl (myself included), avoid certain characters.Well I rarely notice pros using dash forward. They would mostly run.
Yes, you cancel dash by pressing run, and you cancel run by ducking xD, or any attack.
Heh, yeah I like to walk too, if my opponent is hanging back and blocking too much... Especially as Mileena or Jason, because it just looks intimidating and badass.Imo are useless unless you have no stamina. But even then I just walk since The walk speed is pretty good
The thing is that if you dash forward you can not attack until your dash in finished. What I find a bit stupid. What are you guys on about? I use forward dashes all the time. I dash forward twice in one of my Kitana BnBs
