Inputting df2u2

I am having serious problems with this, i played martian who had two moves with a similar input without consistent problems in injustice one

I think that the system prioritizes down forward diagonally upwards as being down-forward-forward (rather than down forward up) if this makes sense,. If you don't hit up perfectly it won't register as down-forward up, where if you hit up in the previous game even on an angle it would go full screen.

This is preventing me from enjoying the character and playing him towards my vision of him. Input registry on back forward is enough of an obstacle, this is putting me over the edge. Is anyone facing similar issues, and thinks maybe nrs should look into this?

i already asked dizzy before release about the input system he basically said "deal with it" lul

its way worse than dealing with 8fs of lag in sfv

I have the opposite issue actually, I tend to get a fullscreen icicle when I mean to get a regular one. Probably my own input error though.

It's really not that hard. Stop going up-right and just go straight up after the forward input. It might be a bit harder if you have a box or circle shaped gate, but it's really easy on a diamond gate or a d-pad.

maybe i need to switch pads, i can outzone almost the whole cast with it, its frustrating though playign a charafter who had ithe input and now this game its impossible. Why?

I know what you mean. You mean the Far Death-Circle (the far Icicle). I tested it. I don't have a problem with it. I do the DF2, and when I see Cold to aim to the sky, I press simply U. So it's a matter of training there. His only problem is that when both are in corners of Full Screen the icicle drops in FRONT of the opponent.

BTW, where did you see the U2? :S

I don't have any issues with the input personally, but I know the feeling you have. I would try a new controller.

Quality contribution to the discussion, friend.
I was just trying to state that practice makes perfect when it comes to execution. It's a new game that requires different timing. If you want to get these inputs down for real then you literally have no choice but to "git gud".
