Since around the time Injustice: Gods Among Us released one of the biggest complaints was the matches ending too soon. The average time for a match would be about 2 minutes and 40 seconds giving the players hardly any time to adjust. Since Injustice really does not have rounds, only a short pause between the depletion of life bars and only one breaker (clash/wager that can only be activated once per character after you lose your first bar of health), depending who you're playing, it's bad from not only a player point of view but spectator as well.
There was much discussion revolving around this topic today on twitter from many competitors and even NetherRealm Studios' very own producer, Hector Sanchez tweeted, "Injustice should be 3/5 all the time.". Of course, after several competitors voiced their opinions and many retweets later, the Video X Games twitter simply said, "We wouldn't mind doing Injustice 3/5, its a pretty fast paced game. This just was never brought to our attention.".
The voice of EVO is a big one and may be the judge on the future of Injustice rounds leading up to the Video X Games.
Do you agree with this possible new format?
