Injustice:GAU Tier List for D2s

Inspired to make this by a small discussion in Foxy's thread. There could be some good discussion on this. Everything outside of top tier isn't necessarily in the order I think it is.

Top Tier: Aquaman, Bane, Grundy, Sinestro

High Tier: Joker, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Killer Frost, Flash, Green Lantern, MMH(trait), Deathstroke, Doomsday

Mid Tier: Green Arrow,Shazam, Zod, Harley, Lex Luthor, Superman, Scorpion, Catwoman, Batman, Lobo, Black Adam, Nightwing(staff), Batgirl, Raven

Low Tier: Zatanna, Cyborg, Nightwing(escrima), MMH(no trait), Ares

A couple of these are debatable I'm sure. I'm on the fence with couple like Shazam's and Zod's.

Eeeeeeeh, personally, I wouldn't rank Batman's d2 as low tier. It's not the greatest, but I've had a reasonably good success rate with using it as an anti-air and to punish dash-ins, though I prefer to use 1 2 3 for the second scenario.

Why rank someone's D2 if they have an anti-air option that is superior? Why not just rank their Anti-Air ability?

It's like ranking someone's dash when they have a teleport--not always necessary and probably much better to rank their "mobility" instead.

It blew up like 99999999999 of my Ds j3s online. and a Ds J3 isn't the easiest thing in the world to AA

WW's beats pretty much all jumping normals.
Sword stance does too, and its much faster.

I think its cause she uses weapons that dont count as a part of her hitbox.

Batgirl's and Catwoman's D2 should be in the lowest tier. Batman's is mid.

scorpion actually has a really good d2,
id call it better than every other one in the low section.
should be in mid imo

Yeah this was the first thing that jumped out at me on the list. I thought it should be higher but I don't play the character. I've been d2ed out of a f3 consistently by WW players

I've had very minimal results with it tbh, it just feels like its something that has to be timed really well. I'll move it up to mid tier though.

Sinestro's D2 is overrated imo. It is 11 frames and still is hard to use against the best jump attacks (Batman, Aqua JIP 2 for example). MMH, Grundy, Bane, Aqua, Flash, HG, WW and Frost all have better D2s.

Her D2 is very good, but I feel like Flash's and KF's are just as good. I don't think anyone's D2 is as dumb as the top 4 though.

I used to consider Sinestro's d2 as one of the best in the game until I looked at his frame data. A little over ten frames?

Both Harley and Cyborg havethe worst Down 2 Uppercuts in the game, and should be shown as such.
Both their hitboxes in all directions and their recovery are absolutely terrible-- difficult to combo off of, even.

Joker's is top tier undisputably. 12f and reaches jump distance, reason he outfootsies characters at that range.

I think that Catwoman's D2 is a little underrated.

Ares cannot get out of the gutter to save his life, his d2 would be godlike is the hitbox was extended back, foward, and up. But its top tier in animation.
