Injustice Characters

Since the game has been out, I have never seen any one use Lex luther or Cyborg. Is that because they aren't good enough to use? I mean I tried out the characters both are actually pretty decent, I wouldn't mind using them. I see more people using superman, doomsday, deathstroke, green arrow, aquaman. Yes those characters pretty cool, but I see people use those characters to spam then actually do combos.

I love the game, I try and learn each characters combos, so far my favorite is Batman, Bane and Batgirl. I like nightwing and flash but just don't use them as often, and just wondering which characters you guys like to use and who you don't like to use ? Also what do you think of the DLC characters Lobo and Batgirl ?

it is still early in the game, cyborg is a heavy zoner and requires a great deal of execution, he also has set ups he can use with his rockets to launch you or prevent you from closing in on him. He takes alot of effort but is definetly a top 10 character.

Lex is similar in the sense that he is a set up character. Lex is only as good as how clever and intelligent the person using him is. He has traps, keep away, characters like that need alot of time to be explored. Though I do feel Lex should be buffed a bit, not many use him because of the intelligence required in the first place.

Lex is a set up character and a fairly unsafe one. If you play Lex you have to know every other character extremely well. On the other hand if your opponents know Lex well he is much less scary. If you play him without knowing him well then he will catch you a lot in his traps and has a good chance of winning. If you know the properties, range and speed of his tools you can either avoid them or make the right choice and escape some of his damage. In any case Lex is a character that has to work hard for his wins and tournament players usually don't like to work hard if there are other choices. And they are right.

Lex is decent but as others have pointed out he has to be used very strategically. You have to set up your ability to take control of a fight unlike other characters who can turn the tide on a dime. Cyborg is solid but falls into the Lex category of having to think your moves out in advance, though not as much as Lex.

As for Lobo and Batgirl... I love Lobo but he's seriously flawed and has incredibly demanding timing. Again, I like him but its hard to beat someone who knows what they're doing with Supes, GL, Batman, Aquaman and so on. Batgirl seems like there's a ton if potential as a light rushdown/antizoner type character. Still too fresh to know for sure though.

As for who I like: Bane is my main man. I'm not a fan of super fast characters as its not my play style. I like to take a little time, feel you out and then discover a pattern and punish you for it. I've always played big, slow grapplers for that reason. Rushdown is too aggressive and in your face for me. Zoning is interesting though, I like Sinestro.
