Vampire Jesus....he wants YOUR blood now!!
having to have bats already activated before starting the combo may make this a bit of a rare occurance

I'll be interested to see how many people are actually able to pull off an Interactable combo in an actual match. Having your opponent right in front of the interactable at just the right point in the combo and having enough practice with the combo to go for it and not mess it up will be a very rare occurrence, I believe.

I don't think it will be that bad. I mean, we already adjust our game for corner and mid-screen damage/pressure, so once we really learn the stages I think confirming into the right combo will become second nature.

If you're planning on being an advanced/pro player, "messing up a combo" won't be part of your vocabulary...

I imagine these types of combos will never be seen in random online matches...but offline, absolutely. Assuming of course that these aren't automatically Clash'd in the same way we know how to Breaker properly in MK9.

I see pros drop combos all the time. Not nearly as much as your casual player, but it still happens.

However, the big reason I think interactable combos will drop more often is because they won't be practiced as often. I don't know about other competitive players, but if I have to choose between spending my practice time on my bnb combos or spending it on stage-specific interactable combos, my time is going straight to the combos I can use on any stage, from any position.

I still think it's a bit different than corner combos. The big difference is that the corner comes with a lot of advantages, and it's a static wall present on every stage. That means that a corner combo can be done the exact same way every time, on any stage. Interactables, however, are stage-specific, and they require not only you but also your opponent to be positioned correctly in order to take advantage of them mid-combo.

All-in-all, I think they're more flashy than effective, and I doubt we'll be seeing many at high-level play. If I'm wrong, feel free to throw that quote back in my face in a few months, but I really don't see it happening.

Strange...didn't I personally mail Detroit a capture device two years ago? I wonder what happened to that?

Regardless, it comes as no surprise to me that he is working his combo magic already. I expect him to be a dominant force in Injustice as he was in MK9. :)

That's a great way of looking at the interactables. Its like there are more corners kind of.
