Since the Injustice 2 Online Beta update yesterday, there have been a few very noticeable changes to the included characters, especially Supergirl.

Below are a few of the captured and noticeable changes noted by Noble Raptor, followed by MKCastiel, who noted some slight changes to Atrocitus. See below:

Whether or not these are all of the balance changes is unclear. We just ask that we all remember that this is a BETA and these changes are only going to continue to improve the game.

Supergirl no longer viable

Nerfed to the ground due to the community air-dashing to conclusions

NRS stop patching your games so much it's only been a week Fl0e has quit the game over this already

JK <3 Paulo

P.S. Don't know if we should call these nerfs and buffs -- at this point they're just unfinished characters being finished.

Or, perhaps, they're gauging what should/shouldn't be changed based off of feedback from the beta. Plenty of stuff changed from the MKXL online beta when the patch went live. Ermac didn't have that damn near block infinite (which I think it was if you didn't have meter for armor), you couldn't land tick throws on hit when canceled from a normal, etc.

QA + design is still working hard around this time, so I'd assume that most feedback on the characters is coming from the internal team. Like for example, I don't feel like Supergirl was presented in a finished form to get feedback on her frame data and whatnot. It was just like "this is good enough to be playable in the beta".

Dizzy's tweet seemed to indicate as much -- I'm sure there's not much that was "found" in the Beta so far that they didn't already know about.

If someone finds something horribly broken though, it's true that they might patch it out.

Why they have to do my main like that. +7 is not okay. Cool.

But my air grab.

THAT WAS THE HYPEST MOVE SEQUENCE NRS HAS EVER DONE.

Y'all crazy if you think this is a "old version" of the game. That wouldn't make much sense, if it's just for netcode why add more chars?

More likely, this is a fairly recent version of the game, minus some modes and Chars, maybe some Visual tweaks.

Give codes to top players, see if anything is broken etc.

P.S. @Eldriken The MKXL beta was a little different, because that was already a finished game with finished characters going through a rebalance, vs. INJ2 where a lot of characters will be "rough draft" status for a while.
Yeah, I know it was different. My main point was the fact that adjustments were made after the beta and I'm willing to bet some of the changes were due to feedback.

I'm just saying the same principle may be in effect here (but not 100%, y'know?) and some adjustments may be based off of feedback. It's likely more to do with what you said: they're just updating the unfinished characters to their "finished" state.

The reason why its probably an older build is because newer builds tend to have a lot of unforseen problems. I imagine this was a build made specifically to be really stable.
