Don't know where to post this, so I thought I'd just do it here. @Sulfur believes that Mileena beats Scorpion.

He argues that her B12, and roll will keep Scorpion out.

I argue that Scorpion's D4 will check her B12, and allow him to get into range where Mileena struggles at. And that his J3 will more than likely stuff her AA's and beat her air to air. If I decide to go that route before applying pressure with him.

He argues that he will roll away every time I jump at him. If I run at him he will roll.

And I'm too lazy to type more...so how about you guys, who do you think wins the match up between these two characters? I don't really think Mileena has much to contest Inferno Scorpion with.

This probably should be in the Scorpion or Mileena thread.

As for the match the fact that minions can't be fully punished on whiff (around full screen) due to the tele kick bug is super annoying.

What's the bug?
When Scorpion does any minion Mileena in theory can do Ex-Telekick during the start-up for a full combo punish. However, what happens is if you do that the first kick of Ex-Tele will hit, the rest of it will whiff, Scorpion stays grounded instead of being launched and Mileena ends up in neutral right next to Scorpion.

lol, what Mileenas are using tele-kick? it's absolutely terrible when used outside of a combo.
Terrible tracking, punishable/blockable on reaction, and even if i do hit it i'm put WAY closer than I wanna be against you.

Rolls are really good though, you'll never see me spam them (unless i'm screwing around and don't care) they are really damn quick (7f startup) and start/have a giant role in Mileena's damaging combos.

8 frame start up but that's a minor difference :)

Roll is super good but personally I think that tool is not enough compared to the many tools Scorpion has to deal with this matchup

It's not like you can cancel run with block or anything. Roll is horribly punishable. If he wants to roll when you jump.. do an air teleport punch and win.

I typically just let mileena do her unsafe 50/50s that she has to spend meter on and win with punishes.

I really wanna see how this works in a real game, in theory, teleporting at my roll risks him being attacked and me getting a free 27%.
Also, I don't exclusively roll ffs it's just a really good tool jesus.

While I still think it's too early to be calling matchups, me and @theGabStandard have played this match a ton and from that experience I would give it to Inferno Scorpion.

Mileena is not that difficult to defend against and unlike Scorpion she is very punishable. Scorpion gets to play his game while being completely safe, Mileena puts her health on the line to play hers and that's a big deal in this match.

The bottom line in this match up (for the moment) is that Mileena can be punished for playing her game, Scorpion only gets punished when he makes a mistake.
