If MERCY move returns, would it be allowed at Tournaments?

For those who don't know, MERCY move was around MK3. After FINISH HIM/HYMN the winner could do a code that gave the loser something like 10% health back, the equivalent of when it says Danger before health bar empties. If MERCY move came back, would it be allowed at tournaments, adding to hype, or would it not be allowed?

The only reason we really didn't do fatalities in the MK9 days was because we needed to get matches done quickly in pools.

To me the match only ends when it says, "[Insert Character] Wins".
And IIRC, only happens after a Fatality is done or Fatality Timer is up.

Mercy would create "true master scenarios" (depending on the life bars) and would really add lots of hype.

I don't see anything wrong with allowing it as a feature in any upcoming game(s) but I don't think any player(s) would actually implement it in tournament play. If someone lost because of this, they would be trolled to oblivion!

It's more of a casual aspect.
