I need help.

I put an URL in for the pic I want for my avatar but then it says upload failed due to failure writing temporary file. What do I do to fix this???

Welcome to TYM, as for your dilemma, I'd just save the picture to my Pictures and upload from there.

I'm on an iPad so I don't think I can do that. Or can I not put an any pic because I am on an iPad?

Welcome to TYM. I wish I could give you the answer to your situation, but I don't have one...your best bet is to get input from the site staff. If you're on an iPad, it may affect what functions you can use here and on other sites.
