I can't tech roll backward for the life of me please help. What do you do to perform this?

And how do you do it after holding 1 "playing dead"?

So the command to roll is "down back"?

From what I understand is you can tech roll with any input. just as you are about to hit ground from being knocked down, hit any bottom or direction on stick and you should roll back automatically. So the input is any button as your character is about to hit ground. I am not sure if you can roll once you have taken the DOWNED position (Holding Down to stay on ground)

Just hold back with any input. Online is a sick joke so... Try pressing the button before you even hit the ground, This will work... Sadly.
