Hype-Beast vs. Lame-Game

In every fighting game, there are some characters that generally create more excitement than others. In my opinion, some of the hypest characters, characters that look really flashy in their executions and presentation in MKX are Scorpion, Jacqui, and Raiden. And then there are characters that just totally play a deflate-gate style, like Sub-Zero, Kung-Jin, and Erron-Black. Is this due to the character's personality and/or moveset? Or just who controls the character? I think the psychology behind this can really get a crowd to support your character if things get dicey in a tournament, like a sudden change to a fast-paced brawler, although if they've seen a character like yours win so many times, they get a resentment going on. What is your main, and do you consider them to be a hype-beast or lame-game character? Any thoughts on this?

So who are the obvious shitters?

Kenshi, Kitana and Shinnok are the ones i see people call low a lot

also potentially Mileana and Takada but im guessing they could also be mid

just from what im seen is that true

I resent Kung Jin. Every time someone picks him, it's Bojutsu, and it's the same easy high-damage combos involving the dive-kick, overhead smash, and spinning stick of death. And it doesn't help that he has about 647 different lead-ins to that combo. It feels like almost everything he does is a setup for it.

I absolutely cannot stand it, and I am 0% impressed every time I see it.

Mileena is kinda neutral for me, same with Takeda. Takeda's maybe hype for younger players, except I dont think his range helps him at all. Both him and Mileena feel very unsafe, and it's harder to get hype for a character that doesn't have proven consistency, which causes matches could be all over the place.

Purse first, ass last.
How is Takeda low/mid tier? I really wanna know, because his reach is ridiculous. Anti-ground normals that are also anti-air normals into kunai throw, repeat. Kung Jin-esque neutral jump punch. What can venomous D'vorah do about this character?
