Kinda did this much later than I should of, but oh well. I was a huge fan of MK 2 and 4. Played them all the time growing up. Also got pretty into Deception too. I've been lurking on this site for a while before I made my account, but I decided to create one in anticipation of the new game.
Anywho, I'm from Boston and I started a New England thread in the matchmaking section in the hopes of getting an offline scene together. I also have friends in NY that I can stay with, so I wouldn't be opposed to meeting up with some NY players sometime!

As for characters I use, I play Kitana in MK2, Reptile in MK4, and Cyrax in MK9. I'm down to play anyone in any game, so I hope to play you soon!
