How to tech a throw?

I'm pretty sure you have to press 1 or 2 as soon as the throw begins. Hope this helps.

If it's a forward throw - tech with 1 or 3
If it's a back throw - tech with 2 or 4

pretty sure that doesn't work.

no you have to guess
if they use 1+3 you escape with 1 or 3
if they use f+1+3 you escape with 2 or 4
ALSO you cannot be holding block, if you hold block - you cant escape throw at all.

Sometimes i decide if that character really wants me at the wall, depending what side i am they will do a foward or regular grab. Thats just what i do though.

I do this too. I also like to use that mind set against opps, if I'm pushing them too the wall, sometime to mix up ill go for a throw, but throw em back to mid screen to avoid the tech. But that's usually only after I've thrown them to the wall a couple times with out being teched.
